Education and professional development of attorneys are the primary responsibilities of the Education Section in Criminal Matters and form the foundation for competent, independent, effective, and ethical defense.
The Education Section undertakes all necessary measures to ensure a high level of professional legal training and continuous education of attorneys through:
Developing legal knowledge and skills;
Strengthening awareness of ethical issues;
Acquiring the necessary knowledge to protect human rights in criminal proceedings.
The Section organizes seminars and other forms of training specifically tailored to the needs of attorneys practicing before the Court of BiH.
